Whispers of the Archive

The archival history is a collection of fragments. Each path you take is just one voice whispering from the shelves.

When writing for branching narratives, there is a constant battle between player choice and narrative cohesion. If the player has too much freedom, the narrative arc becomes diluted and loses its emotional weight. If the player has too little, it becomes a linear novel masquerading as a game. Our methodology involves 'authored branches'—where choice is about perspective and emotional context, rather than simple plot redirection.
